EP and Album Projects
Which mixing package is the the best for me?
The packages are designed to suit the different needs of clients but each service provides professional mixing of the highest standard. The differences are essentially based on on how many individual tracks your project has and if you require vocal tuning and alternate versions. For instance, when dealing with record labels on full releases then different versions are usually required, as is the guarantee of revisions without any restriction.
You will receive your mix within 3 to 5 days (depending on the number of individual tracks) after the files have been successfully uploaded.
If you have a strong idea of the type of sound you're going for then please include a description or reference track. Your own rough mix can be very helpful also of As much information as possible is good here as it allows me to get the sound you are looking for.
Once the tracks are received I promise to carry out the process within the time stated here on the website. The standard file type is usually a 24bit/44.1khz or 48khz wav/aif file. However it can be 16bit/ 44.1khz if this is what you've recorded the project at. If you are exporting from Pro Tools or any other standard DAW program, for easy syncing at my end, the files should be exporting from the same start point in your DAW, normally bar 0.The tracks themselves should be "Dry", as in they should not have any effects applied to them other than what was recorded in the first instance.
If you have included effects that are integral to the sound. This could include guitar amp effects or filter sweeps or even delays, then by all means leave them applied. If in doubt just get in touch to clarify or even include both dry and effected tracks as a safety.
