This level of resolution means that your are taking advantage of the highest quality specification for Video and HQ streaming services. Waveform doesn't match the audio in Pro Tools.
One thing I've notice with the latest update of Pro Tools is a bug where the waveform is incorrectly drawn when importing. It's a pretty frustrating bug but it can be fixed with a function in Pro tools named 'Recalculate Waveform Overviews'. This can be found in the Pro Tools right hand side bar.
